Dr. Priyabrata Pramanik is a distinguished economist and policy advisor with an illustrious career spanning academia, governance, and international business. Holding a M.Sc. in Physics with a specialization in Radio Physics & Electronics from Jadavpur University, India, and a Ph.D., he has transitioned seamlessly from academia to impactful roles in public administration and global economic policy. As a former IRS officer under India’s Ministry of Finance, he played a pivotal role in shaping national financial policies. Currently, he serves as the National Chief Economic Advisor to KBSK and holds prestigious positions such as Chief Advisor for the National 20 Point Program, collaborating with entities like NITI Aayog and the Reserve Bank of India on critical economic reforms.

Dr. Pramanik's influence extends globally as the Asia Chairman of the US Asia Business Forum and Senior Executive Advisor & Global Director at the Zurich-based IMCI Group International. His expertise has been instrumental in working with international financial institutions like the World Bank and IMF and in formulating India’s Digital Economy and E-Commerce Policy, protecting indigenous enterprises against multinational dominance. He also contributed to the design of India’s 7th Economic Census under the Ministry of Statistics & Program Implementation.
